" The Lord's Prayer"
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory.
Forever and ever.

They hold a precious gift designed in heaven above,
A treasure God bestows with perfect wisdom and with Love...
They enable us to meet with him, to feel his caring touch,
To talk with him as he imparts the peace we need so much...
To give him all our hopes and dreams and trust him with our best...
To lift the ones we Love to him that they, too, may be blessed...
To go to him with all our needs and know he understands--
God placed the lifeline of the soul within our Praying Hands...

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

God grant me serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and wisdom to know the difference.

"Friend Prayer"
Father, I ask you to bless my friends reading this right now.
I am asking you to minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy.
Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in your ability to work through them.
Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask you to give them understanding,
patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading.
Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask you to renew them by revealing your nearness,
and by drawing them into greater intimacy with you.
Where there is fear, reveal your love, and release to them your courage.
Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life.
Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders,
and friends to support, and encourage them.
Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them,
and reveal to them the power they have in you to defeat it.
